RECRUITING TIP OF THE WEEK |
|
|
The Recruiting process is filled with myths and half-truths! Learn to separate the wheat from the chaff:
- If you are good enough you will get recruited.
- It is up to your high school coach to contact college coaches.
- College coaches are continually scouting for good players.
Unfortunately, all of the above statements are not true. Very good
athletes go unrecruited all the time, most high school coaches don't
promote their players to colleges, and only the big schools with big
budgets are continually scouting for players.
If you want to be recruited, you have to market and promote yourself to college baseball coaches. The best way to do that is to attend WBR Showcase ID Camps. Once you do, your chances of being recruited are much, much higher. |
