Chad Skaer - Class of 2010
Chad is 6'2", weighs 210lbs, bats right and throws right. His primary position is pitcher. Secondary position is outfield. Chad has been the staff "ACE" for his high school team since his freshmen year when he earned All-Conference honors. Chad was also voted to 1st Team All-Conference as a sophomore and a junior. He consistently throws his fastball in mid 80's range (84-86 mph) and he can change speeds well at anytime with his change up and curveball. As a sophomore Chad had 61 strikeouts in 63 and 1/3 innings pitched and earned 1st Team All Conference pitcher. This year Chad has 47 strikeouts through 39 innings pitched. Chad is a good contact hitter who rarely strikes out. He is batting .460 through the first 19 games this season. Chad is a 3 sport letter winner. He is also honor roll student with a GPA of 4.16. His ACT score is 34. Chad is a hard worker who always gives 100% on and off the field. His goal is to play D1 baseball on a scholarship and enter a Pre-Medical program.
