Baseball Stats: As a sophomore Matt batting average was .520 and he also had 6 home runs. As a junior so far he is batting .475 with 3 HR, slugging percentage of .895 and a on-base percentage of .600

Camp Comments: Matt is a very good baseball player not to mention a student athlete. He has excellent movement on all of his pitches. Matt is a very good hitter. The baseball jumps off his bat. In the outfield he gets to the baseball very quickly. He has a good first step. Matt is a very good 3 sport star. He is the quarterback of his high school football team. He was 2nd Team All-Conference his junior year when he passed for 1,017 yards and rushed for 500. He also made 1st Team All-Conference in basketball as a sophomore and junior. he averaged 17 points per game. Matt has tremendous upside. He is already a good baseball player with that will only get better at the college level. Matt has the ability and desire to play college baseball.
